E-Mail Problems?
Many of the Franchisees are having trouble with their e-mail settings, with the result that they are not able to send or receive mail. Phoning your Internet Service Provider often creates more confusion, as they are not necessarily aware of the fact that you have an e-mail allocated to you by PostNet SA, @postnet.co.za, which is quite distinct from the e-mail they typically will have allocated to you as part of your dial-in subscription. So in order to access your e-mail @postnet.co.za you need to set your e-mail client up as follows:
E-mail address:
storename
@postnet.co.za
(where
storename
is your store's name without any spaces or punctuation)
SMTP or Outgoing mail server: Whatever your ISP has told you to use
(e.g.
For Intekom it is: smtp.intekom.co.za
For Acenet it is mail.acenet.co.za)
POP3 or Incoming mail server: mail.postnet.co.za
Account name:
storename
Password:
password
(where password is the password allocated to you by PostNet SA when you were allocated the e-mail address)
